A manifesto based strategy exploring the opportunities to establish a climate resilient Lake District using ‘Water and Forest’ as primary assets. At carefully analysed
hotspots biophysical systems using water & forest are established that extend in various scales depending upon the site variables.

 

These robust systems would then help
tackle one of the top two major challenges, namely ‘flood mitigation and carbon sequestration’
