Light is universal. Light from the sun brings warmth, nourishment and joy to all living things on Earth. Humans interact with a fraction of the light spectrum. Plants also interact with the light spectrum but on a much more productive level.

The short-listed proposal here seeks to illuminate the way plants use the light spectrum to grow, flourish and produce. Drawing on Italian art, the central space acts as a “canvas” for perfomances and demonstrations. A textured finish mimics that of an oil painting.
